Why did you start your Business?
That is a question I ask all Business Owners. Here are some interesting perceptions and facts that might apply to your Business
When someone starts a Business it is usually for one of the following reasons. Do any of these apply to your Business journey?
- You wanted independence from your current employer
- You always wanted to do something for yourself.
- Your perception of a Business Owner was one that allowed you to have more time freedom
- You identified a gap in the marketplace to do something faster or more cost effectively
- You always said to yourself…. I can do that!!
There may be other reasons, however in my experience working with Business Owners that these are the main motivators for becoming a Business owner. The reality, however, is that many people go from ‘having a job‘ to ‘owning the job’ and as there Business grows the reality becomes some or all of the following.
- The Business Owner is the last to get paid when cash flow tightens.
- The Business Owner rarely takes holidays (certainly no longer than a week!)
- The Business Owner spends too much time dealing with employee issues.
- The Business Owner spends too much time working on aged debt as opposed to maintaining relationships with Customers

When you enroll for the Monthly Business Planning & Goal Setting Forum our goal is to assist and hopefully inspire to create plans to have more financial confidence and time freedom.

The Prosperity Zone Business Planning Forum meets on the first Tuesday of every month for 2 hours (7.30am -9.30am)
